cozy child’s poncho

Kryss made this comfy cozy poncho for a special 6 year old. The pattern is by Mac&Me and the yarn is Misti's Chunky Alpaca (the pretty purple crocheted edge is Misti's Chunky Handpaint).

It's so soft and warm… I want one.

fab fall scarf

Yet another lovely creation by Angela. She knit this scarf with her favorites — Be Sweet's Boucle and Ozark Handspun's wool & mohair mix. Doesn't it just scream autumn?

The pattern is Kate Gilbert's Wisteria from Twist Collective. It took 5 skeins of Malabrigo worsted. Our photo shows more shadowing than the actual sweater. (polar morn is the gorgeous color Sally chose) Love it!

Look at this great sweater Julia brought in to show us. The pattern from Knitty.com is called Tempest. Julia chose Dream In Color's Smooshy Sock Yarn (colors: good luck jade and november muse). Doesn't it look fantastic?!

The shop occasionally hosts special events, book signings, trunk shows, and sales. Private events can also be arranged at the shop by request.

Perhaps you'd like to have a birthday party centered around a knitting lesson. Or a baby shower during which everyone learns to knit a square for a baby blanket. Or a corporate networking event that features knitting instruction. Or a book club that encourages participants to knit while discussing the book. Nina: a well-knit shop is available for these and other special events.
