We just received the long awaited new line of yarn by Malabrigo called Twist (in more than 20 gorgeous colors)!
It’s a worsted weight merino wool, a little heavier than the original Malabrigo worsted merino we carry. Each skein has 150 yards and knits at approx 4 stitches per inch. The 8-ply composition is soft and spongey, and takes the kettle dyes so beautifully. I’m imagining wonderful hats, gloves, sweaters, blankets…
In response to many requests for cashmere yarn, we’re now offering Cashmere Scarf Kits by Jade Sapphire.
There are kits “for her” and kits “for him.” Each come with a booklet containing 7 different scarf patterns (like the cabled one above).
You’ll find several color choices of luxuriously soft cashmere. $99 each.
We recently started carrying Silky Wool by Elsebeth Lavold. It’s a DK yarn in natural heather tones, ideal for light weight garments and accessories.
The shop occasionally hosts special events, book signings, trunk shows, and sales. Private events can also be arranged at the shop by request.
Perhaps you'd like to have a birthday party centered around a knitting lesson. Or a baby shower during which everyone learns to knit a square for a baby blanket.
