clockwork…
I’ve been admiring Stephen West’s Clockwork pattern for a long time now.
After serious indecision, I finally chose 2 colors of Madelinetosh Merino Light (georgia o’keefe and well water), and cast mine on. I’m really enjoying knitting it.

We just received Zauberballs from Skacel. This colorful fingering weight yarn stripes in fun and surprising ways.
Each ball has 459 yards, and makes great socks, hats and shawls. You’ll find lots of pattern ideas on Ravelry.
Last weekend we had a nice visit from Maaike, a talented Dutch blogger and crafter who lives in Toronto.
We are so impressed with her beautiful blog, Crejjtion, and are tickled to be featured on it.
Here’s her post about our shop:

Wanted to share Tami’s Escargot Hat.
Doesn’t it look great edged in white?
Add it to my must knit list.
The shop occasionally hosts special events, book signings, trunk shows, and sales. Private events can also be arranged at the shop by request.
Perhaps you'd like to have a birthday party centered around a knitting lesson. Or a baby shower during which everyone learns to knit a square for a baby blanket. Or a corporate networking event that features knitting instruction. Or a book club that encourages participants to knit while discussing the book. Nina: a well-knit shop is available for these and other special events.
