Participants will receive a discount coupon for finishing their bear.

The bear voted “the favorite” will win a prize!

Please email the shop at info@ninachicago.com to register, as space will be limited.

The Mother Bear pattern will cost $5 and can be purchased in advance

through the Mother Bear Project website or Ravelry.

We have plenty of yarn available for your use in making and accessorizing your bear.

camp nina – final session

This past Sunday was our last day of Camp.  We were sorry to see it end.  It was great to have everyone working on their projects together.  And we were impressed with the finished results!

This is Heidi’s Riverside Shawl knit with Classic Elite’s Vail.  Stunning!

Here’s Kelli’s Cardi for her daughter, knit with Berroco Origami.  Super cute!

Joan’s Clockwork made with Madelinetosh Light looks great in these punchy fun colors (grasshopper and thoreau)!

Olia’s Cap Sleeve Lattice Top is made with Madelinetosh DK (ginger) and Madelinetosh Pashmina (faded chinos).  It looks even better on!

Carrie caught the Color Affection bug along with many others, and turned out this gorgeous one. She used Madelinetosh Light (ink, grove and well water).

Amy made these adorable bibs with Cascade Ultra Pima.  Great baby gift!

Liam finished this cool pair of socks using Malabrigo Sock yarn (persia).  Nice!

Hilary’s Habu Kit (Ripened Wheat) is fabulous!

We so enjoyed hosting Camp.  It’s sure to be an annual event.  Congratulations to the winners of our “Finished Projects” drawing – Heidi & Amy!

The shop occasionally hosts special events, book signings, trunk shows, and sales. Private events can also be arranged at the shop by request.

Perhaps you'd like to have a birthday party centered around a knitting lesson. Or a baby shower during which everyone learns to knit a square for a baby blanket. Or a corporate networking event that features knitting instruction. Or a book club that encourages participants to knit while discussing the book. Nina: a well-knit shop is available for these and other special events.
