We’re looking forward to a fabulous weekend!

meet our newest knitters…

We love teaching people how to knit and watching them walk out of the shop wearing their beautiful new cowls.

Here are a few of the latest:

Nikki, Kristin, and Miriam finished their first projects together and immediately started new ones.

Heide made this vibrant sunset colored cowl and accented it with a Bonnie Bishoff shawl pin.  Then she chose other bright colors for herself and her daughters.

We look forward to seeing what they make in the coming months.

Fall Fashion Show

What a fun Fashion Show we had last Sunday!

Thanks to everyone who came.

And thanks to those who brought completed projects and helped model their creations.

We were impressed!

our window display contest

We’ve enjoyed the changes to our front window, thanks to our two window display contest winners, Lindy and Asheley.

Lindy played with spray paint and arranged samples among our Big Knit piece.  She freshened and brightened us up.

Asheley cut many strands of orange cotton yarn and arranged them in such a way that your view changes depending upon the angle.  It’s really cool.

Our photos don’t do these displays justice, but take our word for it, they were both great.

Asheley’s installation is in our window now, so come by to see it while you still can.

The shop occasionally hosts special events, book signings, trunk shows, and sales. Private events can also be arranged at the shop by request.

Perhaps you'd like to have a birthday party centered around a knitting lesson. Or a baby shower during which everyone learns to knit a square for a baby blanket. Or a corporate networking event that features knitting instruction. Or a book club that encourages participants to knit while discussing the book. Nina: a well-knit shop is available for these and other special events.
