We found many great things to add to our mix at our buying show (TNNA) earlier this month. They’ll be trickling into the shop between now and the fall. Follow us on Facebook so you’re the first to know of their arrival. Here’s a sneak peek.
Beautiful colors of Madelinetosh yarn. Their booth was just sensational!
Big Bad Wool Weepaca – a soft yarn for all your baby and children knits. Love the color palette!
A line of needle felting kits to make these adorable critters. Cutest things ever!
A collection of project bags in some lovely new prints from Binkwaffle.
A great new yarn from Blue Sky Alpacas called Extra.
Jilly – a new single ply fingering weight yarn by Dream in Color.
Knightsbridge – another soft and luxurious yarn from Fibre Co.
More fabulous styles, colors and textures from Shibui.
Sweet baby yarns and patterns from Swans Island of Maine.
A lovely line of cashmere from Pepperberry Knits.
And many patterns to keep you inspired.
While at TNNA, we crossed paths with designer, Ann Weaver. When we learned she would be stopping in Chicago on her way home, we invited her to the shop for a little event.
Here she is chatting with folks and showing her designs. Thanks Ann – it was great to have you at our shop!
Flash Event… knitwear designer, Ann Weaver, is coming to our shop this Thursday, May 8th from 5:30-8pm!
While at TNNA this past weekend, Janet from String Theory Yarn Co. and I met with Ann to plan a collaborative fall event.
Both of our shops will host a September workshop with Ann to teach the Albers Cowl shown below (details to come).
When I learned that Ann planned to be in Chicago this week, I decided to arrange a spontaneous event with her while she’s here.
Please join us for a casual meet and greet with Ann this Thursday, May 8th from 5:30-8pm.
Talk with her while enjoying wine and cheese. See samples of her patterns, discover her design and color inspirations, and learn about her upcoming workshops at our shop.
We know it’s last-minute, but it was just too good an opportunity to pass up.
We really hope you can make it!
Exciting news! We now carry quince & co. linen yarns.
Sparrow and Kestrel just arrived – along with many inspiring patterns.
Being a Mainer, I’m especially happy to offer another great product line from Maine!
The photos above are a few of the quince & co. patterns we carry. (In order they are: Perkins Cove Pullover, Lida Shawl, Casco Bay Cardi, Scarborough Shrug, and Saco Stripes – named after some of my favorite places in Maine.)
So many terrific options for spring and summer knitting!
