vogue knitting live chicago recap

Posted on: October 31st, 2014 by nina chicago
Thanks to everyone who visited us at

We know that not everyone can make it to this Show

so we thought we’d share a little bit about what

Vogue Knitting Live means for us here at Nina.

The weekend starts with a u-haul full of fixtures and products.

We unload into our empty booth,

and begin to create a mini version of our shop.

After lots of arranging and rearranging, and lots of candy…

We’re all set up and the weekend show begins!

This year we saw many familiar faces.

And we met great new customers too

(including 2 who came all the way from Finland)!

We displayed new yarns and projects

as well as our favorites.

Here’s a look at a few of them…

Want to see and touch them?  They’re all back at the shop!

Honey Cowl in Shibui Maai

Slip Stitch Infinity Cowl in Blue Sky Alpacas Extra

ZigZag Scarf in Blue Sky Alpacas Extra

Rasta Infinity Cowl in Malabrigo Rasta

Striped Cashmere Cowl in Pepperberry Cashmere DK

Welty in Tosh Light and Shibui Pebble

Rockefeller in Tosh Light

Down the Rabbit Hole in Frabjous Fibers Cheshire Cat

Tonal Triangle in Shibui Pebble

The best part about Vogue Knitting Live

is interacting with the people who attend.

We felt so lucky to see your smiling faces in our booth,

whether you were shopping or volunteering.

This pic pretty much sums up how we feel about it:

Thank you to everyone!

We look forward to seeing you back at the shop!
