Do you offer private special events?
Yes, we can do baby showers, bridal parties, children’s parties and more! Please give us a call or email us here and we’d be happy to discuss scheduling and pricing.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes! We can sell gift cards in any amount.
Do you have a rewards program?
Yes! For each dollar you spend, you earn a point. For every 200 points you earn, you receive a $10 gift certificate. If you reach 1000 points, you get an additional $10 gift certificate!
Do you ship and how much are shipping charges?
We are always happy to take phone orders until we are able to get sales up and running on our website. We charge a flat rate of $10 for all shipping orders under $100 and shipping is free for any order $100 and up. Shipping includes all package and handling costs.
What is your return policy?
All wound yarn and sale items are final sale. All other items, in their original condition, may be exchanged or returned for a store credit within 60 days. Patterns and sale items are final sale. Customers are responsible for paying their return shipping charges.
Do you wind yarn that was not purchased at your shop?
We will wind yarn that was purchased elsewhere for $1 (cash) per skein. The money we collect from winding these yarns will go to a local charity.
Do you accept any charity items?
We get a lot of requests from customers who want to drop off old needles, yarn and many other things they don’t need anymore, and we have to politely decline these donations as we don’t have room for them all. We encourage you to research local charities online and make a donation there.
Can I get some help with my project during open stitching sessions?
Please understand that open stitching sessions are not help sessions and others are there to socialize and enjoy their knitting or crocheting. If you have a few questions or just need a little guidance, feel free to ask an employee for help, but if it is more involved, we recommend scheduling a lesson for another time.
Can I drop in for help any time during open hours?
Of course! Please understand that if you happen to come in during a busy time, you may have to wait a bit until one of us is available to help you. We’re always happy to advise you or get you back on track. If it’s a bit more complicated than that, it might make sense to schedule a lesson instead so that you can get the undivided attention you need.
