Have you been wanting to try knitting your first pair of socks? Have you been struggling with double-pointed needles? Have you been wondering about those FlexiFlips and how to use them? If you answered yes to any of these, this is a great class for you!

We will make our first sock over the course of two sessions, toe up and one-at-a-time, using Addi FlexiFlips. The class schedule is as follows:

Session 1: Sunday, January 30th from 3:00pm to 4:30pm

Students will learn how to begin the toe on the FlexiFlips, after any sizing questions have been answered. Once everyone is moving along, we will go through and prepare for the upcoming steps so students will be ready to tackle the heel in session 2.

Session 2: Sunday, February 13th from 3:00pm to 4:30pm

After a few weeks to work the foot, we will fully tackle the heel construction and make sure all of your questions are answered. After everyone is comfortable with the heel, we will continue on and you'll know everything you need to finish the first sock!

There are various sock yarns to choose from and not everyone will want the same needle size, so we will have you purchase your supplies separately before class. Please just come in before or show up a few minutes early to choose your yarn and needles.

**It is recommended that students are comfortable with knitting and purling, as well as basic increases and decreases. Prior experience with double points will be helpful but isn't required.
