Rewind Cardy by The Fibre Co. is a super versatile drop-shoulder cardigan that features chunky ribbed borders, two pockets on the front and an all-over stockinette stitch. Knitting this one offers the chance to learn techniques like adding button bands, pockets and buttonholes in a format made for beginners. For someone wanting to knit their first cardigan, this is the perfect project.

In this workshop, we will take you through the entire process of making a sweater, and sessions are spaced out over the course of 6 weeks so you have plenty of time to work at your own pace. We will cover everything from gauge swatching, sweater anatomy, increases and decreases, ease and how to achieve desired fit, finishing techniques and blocking, among other purls of wisdom we will have for you!

The fee includes four sessions, the pattern, and instruction. All yarn and supplies will need to be purchased separately (many of you may already have some or most of them).

We are happy to help you prepare for this class, whether it is making sure you have everything you need or helping you pick colors! If we are out of a color you are interested in, please check with us because we may be able to order it for you before the workshop begins.

Students must be comfortable with knitting, purling, casting on and binding off. If students need additional help outside of the four scheduled sessions, please contact us for a private lesson. This workshop is non-refundable and there will be no make-up sessions, so please make sure all four dates work with your schedule before registering.
