The Jensen Shirt is a classic relaxed-fitting button shirt with a yoke, a collar, and a stand. The sleeves have cuffs, a house, and a slit. Sew the shirt pattern with a pointed collar or just the stand. The shirt's hem is curved and slightly longer in the back. Make a shirt with either the pleated or the straight back. Mastering the techniques takes practice, but it's like riding a bike!

Suggested Fabrics
Make the Jensen shirt sewing pattern with a classic shirt weight woven fabric such as, but not limited to, cotton, linen, or silk. Use interfacing appropriate to the material.

Fabric requirements
140 cm (48″ – 50″) wide fabric:
Long sleeve, 1.7 – 2.1 m (1.8 – 2.3 yd) // Short sleeve, 1.2 – 1.5 m (1.3 – 1.7 yd)

Trim/Notions
90 cm (36″) wide interfacing, 0.3 – 0.5 m (0.4 – 0.6 yd)
Buttons, 11 for long sleeve or 7 for short sleeve.
