February 2018 is two-fold for us, with elements of both love & loyalty!
First, love! We want everyone to come out and show their love by joining us in a knit-and-crochet-along to make baby blankets that will be donated to the local organization Project Linus.
KAL/CAL For a Cause
Sundays from 3-5pm
February 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th
Project Linus is a nationwide non-profit organization that provides handmade, machine-washable blankets to children in need. We will be donating skeins of Flutterby Chunky, a super soft and washable chenille yarn that is perfect for baby blankets. Just bring yourself and some needles or hooks to get started! We will have some pattern suggestions and you can also check the Project Linus website for some of their knit and crocheted pattern recommendations. Most blankets use a 9-10 needle or I-J hook and can be worked up very quickly. Not to mention, we always have a great time when we are hanging around and stitching together. New to knit or crochet? You have the skills to do this! Come and show your love with us to help a child in need!
