Handspun Hope is a vendor we have supported for years now as we've carried their yarns and their adorable felted sculptures (see all Handspun Hope products here). For the first time ever, we can bring you kits so YOU can make some of the wonderful knits these ladies have been making in Rwanda!
Not only do we have these kits, but they are only available at local yarn shops, and we have our own custom project bag for your kit. The founder of Handspun Hope personally picked out the fabric in Rwanda herself and we coordinated with her to make it ours.

Handspun Hope gives over 120 women, most of them widows and orphaned survivors of the Genocide against the Tutsi, dignified employment. Handspun Hope is a certified member of the Fair Trade Federation, which guarantees fair wages and working conditions for the artisans.
The sheep receive meticulous 24-hour care so they will continue producing quality fleeces for the ladies working for Handspun Hope.
