stitch up 2020 tea party recap!

Posted on: March 11th, 2020 by nina chicago

Life here in our shop has been quite the whirlwind since we opened last July and we apologize for letting our blog fall so far behind! We had an amazing holiday season, immediately followed by big events in January and February, so we feel a little like we are catching our breath for the first time.

We are so honored to be a part of Stitch Up Chicago, and this year we hosted the tea party for the 4th year in a row. This was the first tea party our current location, and we had over 75 attendees! It was a blast! We had stitchers hanging out, shopping, eating yummy snacks, and catching up with each other all afternoon.

We had a great time watching our hosts and guest add to our Make Wall installation as well. A piece of each of them will always be with us!

The food is always the best at the Stitch Up kick off tea party! So good, in fact, that Chef on the Roof is now officially part of the event every year. All the food was gone by the end of the event.

While Kristy Glass was here, she interviewed us and took a tour of our shop. It was so much fun to meet her and get to know her better!

For more information about Stitch Up, please go to Stitch Up has become very popular and has sold out the last two years. Keep up with us and Stitch & Hustle so you don’t miss out next year!
