Suggested Fabrics
Use bottom-weight fabric in Linen, cotton, light canvas, or denim. Use woven fabric without stretch for your summer pants sewing pattern. Use materials such as cotton or polyester for the pocket lining and interfacing that supports the weight of your fabric.

130-140 cm (52-55″) wide fabric: Pants, 2 – 2.25 m (2.2 – 2.5 yd) // Shorts, 1.5 m (1.75 yd).
