As 2018 comes to an end, we are getting even more excited about our move in the spring of 2019! We’d love to share with you some photos of the space before we begin our demolition. Our favorite part about these photos is they show how much natural light gets in the space. But before we even go inside, here’s a photo taken from the corner of the Eckhart Park across the street:
It’s a beautiful building in a beautiful neighborhood, and while this photo doesn’t show much of the street, you can still see there is plenty of street parking. Here’s our entryway and you can see how much light is coming in from the window above.
This next photo isn’t much to look at now, but we’re thinking this is where our new seating area will be. This is the same corner shown from the outside in the photo above.
We can’t wait to do something fun with this kitchen space!
Can you imagine what we’ll be able to display with all the wall space in this long hallway?
One of the things we’re most looking forward to is having a separate classroom space. How nice will it be to take a class or workshop while looking out at the park?
It’s hard to see it now, but we have a vision of a really amazing new Nina Chicago. The next step is to put on our hard hats and start knocking down some walls! We promise to keep you posted as we move forward!
